Luke Days 2026 pulled an estimated 200,000 people through the gates of Luke Air Force Base in Glendale over two days, watching the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels fly together, a pairing rare enough that the two teams usually stay 150 miles apart on purpose.

What Is Luke Days
Luke Days is a biennial open house and air show hosted by Luke Air Force Base, free to the public and built around live aerial demonstrations from military flight teams. The 2026 show ran March 21 and 22, packed 18 aerial acts into two days, and drew roughly 200,000 attendees, a crowd that size on an active military base changes every logistical assumption you’d normally make about an event.
Free admission gets the crowd in the gate. VIP tents give guests who want more than a spot on the tarmac a shaded table, a better sightline, and a place to actually sit down between acts, which matters a lot more than people expect once the Arizona sun is fully up in late March.
What It Took to Outfit Luke Days
An active Air Force base runs nothing like a convention center or a fairgrounds. Every vehicle, every crew member, and every piece of equipment moves through base security and a set access schedule that has nothing to do with event logistics and everything to do with military protocol. Delivery windows get set by the base, not negotiated with us, and once you’re in, you’re building inside a footprint that’s shared with static aircraft displays, flight lines, and thousands of moving people.
We supplied the VIP tents that gave premium guests a shaded, comfortable base to return to throughout the show, along with cooling support to handle a Phoenix-area crowd sitting outside for hours in the heat. Structures had to go up fast within a tight base access window, hold steady across two full show days of foot traffic, and come down just as fast once the show wrapped, all without slowing down base operations on either side. Order size aside, that kind of environment is its own test. Get the timing wrong and you’re not just behind schedule, you’re in the way of an active military installation.
Why This Was Our Largest Order Yet
Scale alone doesn’t prove much. Scale under military access restrictions, tight security windows, and zero room for a slow setup day does. Luke Days meant more tents, more crew, and more coordination than any event we’d taken on before, and it meant doing all of it inside rules set by an Air Force base rather than a venue we already know inside and out.
That’s the real value in a project like this one. It shows what our team can actually handle when the guest count climbs into six figures and the setup rules aren’t ours to write.
