When A New Leaf reimagined its 37th Annual Camaraderie Gala, the vision was ambitious: transport nearly 600 guests from the desert to the streets of Manhattan for one unforgettable night. Captivate Event Rentals was honored to donate rentals in support of the cause, helping bring "A Night in New York City" to life at the Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort on March 28.
The Event
A New Leaf has spent decades serving Arizona families facing homelessness and domestic violence, and its Camaraderie Gala is the organization’s premier fundraiser.Â
This year’s celebration carried extra weight, honoring a retiring leader whose 50 years of service helped shape the organization into what it is today.Â
Guests gathered beneath a glowing “NEW YORK” marquee, its lit letters anchoring a skyline backdrop that set the scene the moment they walked in, while long tables dressed in rich reds and purples carried the evening’s sophisticated, big-city energy across the room.
Our Role
Captivate was proud to donate a portion of the evening’s rentals, including plush lounge furniture that gave guests a place to gather between courses and speeches. It’s a small detail, but it’s exactly what turns a ballroom into an experience.Â
Giving back to organizations doing meaningful work in our own backyard is core to who we are, and we’re grateful to have played a part in an evening that raised more than $1.2 million for Arizona families working to rebuild their lives.
